A trip to Silver Glen Springs by Robert Burgoine

Silver Glen Springs is located in the Ocala National Forest in Florida.This spring is one of the largest springs I've had the pleasure of swimming in. While swimming towards to the spring you can feel the water pouring out and pushing you away as you swim closer. Silver Glen is quite refreshing and stays a cool 72 degrees year round as with most springs in Florida. This destination is great for day trips, as it doesn't offer any camping. It seems like the best things for this stop are cooking, swimming, boating, canoeing, and kayaking. This was definitely a highlight to my trip to Ocala National Forest
